As President of Metal Tech, Rob manages and leads a team providing all aspects of the construction process including sales, research and development, growth, cost analysis and more. A big believer in quality, Rob supports both subcontractors and employees. Rob is a qualified construction management professional and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Grand Valley State University.
Rob is no stranger to construction, having spent over 22 years as a construction entrepreneur and has managed all aspects of the construction cycle. In his current role, Rob is responsible for growing a company that exceeds $10,000,000 in annual sales while still maintaining a professional tight knit feel with customers. Rob works with building owners, property managers, developers, and schools to assist them in making decisions about allocating resources by providing assurance that the construction information is accurate.
Liz has more than 13 years of experience in commercial and industrial construction. She began her career as an intern for a large General Contractor and upon receiving her BBA in Operations Management from Grand Valley State University in 2003 she began at Metal Tech as a Project Coordinator. She has worked in every aspect of the office from accounting to estimating and project management.
Liz now oversees the daily operations at Metal Tech, focusing on quality, safety, efficiency and effectiveness.
Wesley began his career in commercial construction as an intern with Metal Tech and now has over 10 years of experience with the firm. After working as a laborer for a short time, he proceeded to manage onsite personnel on various projects as a foreman. This role with the company evolved into a project management and estimating position — with valuable field experience to draw from.
Wesley now functions in multiple capacities, including Project Manager, Estimator, Consultant, and as the Executive Account Manager for the facilities management component of the company.
Chris has over 10 years of experience in the construction industry, including 7 years with Metal Tech.
He began his career working in the field and gained his education along the way. He has 2 years of training at a trade center in the building trades program and a B.S. in Construction Management from Ferris State University.
Within Metal Tech, Chris oversees interior build-out and tenant improvement projects while assisting with estimating of architectural metal projects.
Alex joined Metal Tech in 2015 as an account manager. He handles the day-to-day involvements for the facilities management division, focusing on our national clients. He has a BA from Hope College and has 2 years of management experience.
Amy is responsible for daily administrative duties, from payroll to accounts receivables. She has a BSBA from Aquinas College and has been with Metal Tech since 2012.
